Christina Lego earned a BFA at the Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA). While there, she was a student of painter Raoul Middleman. She then earned a MFA  in printmaking at West Virginia University where she studied with  printmaker Will Petersen. Her work is included in many private and public collections. She is in a show at the Raoul Middleman Studio Museum in Baltimore in 2026. This is a show of 15  past students of Middleman, and includes work from their student days with Raoul and contemporary work.

Chris lives on a farm at the edge of the village of Brownsburg. This farm is the remainder of one of the original large farms in the area.  She lives in the brick 1700’s house which was built by Robert Wardlaw, the co-founder of the village of Brownsburg in the late 18th century. She has done a series of paintings celebrating the rural beauty of her farm including her beloved horses, the village and the surrounding landscape.

Twelve large paintings of the curve in Hays Creek Road seen from her farmyard in a variety of weather/seasonal situations are featured.
